Interim HR Business Partner (m/f/x)

Our client is an innovative technological market leader and part of the biggest industrial companies in the world. The global head quarter for one business unit with over 9.000 employees is located in Celle. To further growth our client is looking for an Interim HR Business Partner (m/f/x)

Role Summary:

The HR Business Patner is the first point of contact for managers and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. This role is critical in executing our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This role will be directly aligned to a highly-complex, defined employee population.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Oil &Gas HR Team and Leadership Team to define and execute HR initiatives for the site
  • Proactively and timely translate Business requirements into Labor Relation strategy and drive Works Council communication
  • Manage works council relations and communication with client leadership in alignment with HR Business Partners and Labor Relations/ Legal CoE
  • Coaching and counseling client leadership regarding labor and works council relation
  • Closely cooperate with GGO HR teams, be involved / contribute to Germany initiatives considering Oil & Gas requirements
  • Ensure employees and managers are provided with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues
  • Know O&G talents and ensure development and retention plans as appropriate identify people and roles for cross-functional development
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and TD professionals to execute business-specific HR strategies
  • Ensure that routine and complex employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated & resolved
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
  • Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance
  • Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like Performance Management at company, Salary Planning and New Employee Orientation
  • Conduct investigations including gathering, preserving, documenting and analyzing all available information and evidence, and in some circumstances, making recommendations to the business on disciplinary action
  • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care
  • Provide coaching and mentorship
  • Lead other site-wide HR projects as necessary, working across multiple client groups

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Human Resources)
  • Legal background preferable
  • Significant experience in Employee Human Resource Management with a strong focus on Works Council relations
  • Fluency in both German and English
