Accountant International (m/f/d)

Als ausgewiesene*r Bilanzierungsspezialist*in verbinden Sie die Analyse und Bewertung von Assets mit dem Prozess- und Projektmanagement. In Ihrem Wirkungskreis bei der Investmentgesellschaft eines DAX-Konzerns sind Sie neben dem Tagesgeschäft mitverantwortlich für die Digitalisierung und Implementierung moderner Standards. Sie arbeiten an abwechslungsreichen und anspruchsvollen Projekt- und Prozessthemen rund um die Kapitalanlagen Buchhaltung. Sie und fünfzig hochqualifizierte Mitarbeitende verantworten die Erstellung von Abschlüssen nach HGB und IFRS. Die gesamte Abteilung arbeitet in fünf Teams für den Kapitalanlagenbestand von in- und ausländischen Kunden. Das Arbeitsumfeld ist modern und zeitgemäß mit Work from Home, vor Ort Open Space und das direkt in zentraler Lage im Herzen von Köln. Your challenging responsibilities in investment accounting :

  • Execution and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to national and international accounting standards including assessment and posting of valuations and accruals and deferrals
  • Participation in functional and/or technical projects related to infrastructure and private equities (e.g. assessment of new products, process and interface optimization)
  • Timely and proper preparation of internal and external reporting (BaFin, Bundesbank, etc.) in accordance with accounting regulations
  • Coordinate, control and analyze internal data deliveries for compliance with accounting regulations
  • Preparation and quality assurance of externally supplied financial statement data and integration into the Group reporting system
  • Accounting of investments as equity or debt instruments as well as private equities according to HGB and IFRS
  • Contact person for internal (audit) and external auditors (auditors, BaFin auditors, tax auditors, etc.)
  • Participation in group projects in the areas of digitalization, regulation or new product design, among others.


Why you fit with your skills:

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training as well as further training as an accountant or Certified International Accountant (CINA).
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting as well as financial statement reliability according to IFRS and HGB
  • IT affinity, good Excel skills and ideally initial SAP user experience
  • You love numbers and feel at home in accounting
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
