Area Manager Internal Sales (m/f/d)

In the responsible and exciting position as Head of Internal Sales at the subsidiary of a global industrial group, you will be responsible for the management and further development of the 4 internal sales managers with a total of almost 50 employees within the matrix organization. In addition to operational responsibility, the focus is on the strategic further development of work processes and the digital transformation of the internal sales force. Your qualification profile

  • Thanks to your many years of professional experience and management experience in complex internal sales structures, you have in-depth knowledge of order processing, condition maintenance and invoicing
  • As an impulse generator, as well as strategic promoter of your ideas, you were able to successfully implement and complete sustainable change projects
  • Technical affinity with a secure scope in MS-Office as well as AS/400 or SAP, at the same time you have the ability to look beyond your own nose, in addition you question the actual state with curiosity
  • You are not afraid to make decisions, you independently set new incentives
  • With your bulging toolbox of experience, you are self-confident and authoritative, and you enthusiastically initiate change processes.
  • In order to be present at the different locations and always "up to date", a willingness to travel is obligatory.
  • The desire to get stuck in, always with a holistic view of the company
  • A completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration

Your responsible field of activity

  • Leadership and further development of the 4 managers at various locations, ensuring their advancement and goal- and result-oriented leadership
  • You will make decisions independently in case of ambiguities in connection with order processing and handling
  • Organizing and ensuring the day-to-day business for the internal sales department
  • You are the link between sales, customers, shipping, warehouse, production and financial accounting, you are responsible for the continuous improvement of internal processes in close cooperation with your colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant procedural and work instructions for your department
