Cyber Security Engineer Remote (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Conduct cyber security risk assessments of industry customers worldwide
• Accompany and support customers in the further development of cyber security as well as make recommendations to increase the security level, if necessary perform pentests, red teaming or technical assessments and evaluate the existing risks
• Further development and digitalization of cyber risk engineering
• Development and setup of monitoring and reporting tools as well as the creation of web applications
• Carrying out portfolio and claims analyses in the cyber area
• You are responsible for regular internal trainings for employees in Germany and abroad
• Presentation of external lectures as well as participation in discussions in the context of IT security and cyber risks
• Monitoring and coordination of cyber security services in the context of risk assessment

What you bring to the table:

• Completed IT studies or several years of practical experience in cyber security, web application security, source code analysis, as a pentester or ethical hacker.
• NIST, ISO27001 knowledge is desirable as well as tools for penetration testing, security scan or forensics
• Ideally, you are already a BSI certified CC evaluator or IS penetration tester Alternatively, you are open to personal development in this area
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as good analytical skills
• Willingness for occasional business trips and continuous training
• Business fluent in German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage
• Most importantly: You have the desire to help build a new department and are motivated to advance yourself and the company in a flexible environment and to provide more security
