Financial Auditor:in Capital Investments / Governance (m/f/d)

What to expect in this exciting role:

• Assessment of the functionality of the internal control system with a focus on investments and corporate governance/compliance as well as corporate planning/control and accounting in accordance with the principles of the profession (IIA)
• Process- and risk-oriented auditing of business processes under the aspects of efficiency, regularity and security
• Advising management on new systems, processes and other challenging issues to be implemented within the framework of project support
• Supporting the team in the further development of audit approaches and audit techniques by taking on and independently handling special assignments
• Carrying out special investigations - Fraud Investigation - (offense audits)

Why you fit with your skills:

• Degree in economics (ideally with a focus on insurance) or mathematics (with a focus on economics or finance).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in an innovative audit department, an auditing firm or a consulting firm (insurance, banking, asset management, auditing or specialized consulting firm)
• -Experience in the application of regulatory and legal requirements
• Knowledge in asset management, risk management processes (desirable with Sovency II), investment law KAGB/KAGG
• A high degree of independence and ability to work in a team
• Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
