Group Controller (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THIS EXCITING TASK:

• You will prepare comprehensive analyses and planning documents for the portfolio management of the holding company.
• Support in M&A transactions and corporate law matters
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (including individual companies and consolidated financial statements as well as consolidation)
• You have a sound understanding of the business models of your holdings and can answer ad hoc questions on financial ratios as well as provide a well-founded assessment of the development of these holdings
• Your job is to efficiently organise the group's controlling, reporting and planning processes and to prepare meaningful reports.
• You will ensure high data quality and adherence to deadlines in financial reporting and work closely with internal stakeholders.
• You carry out comprehensive commercial analyses, checks of target/actual deviations and plausibility checks
• Preparation of quarterly and budget meetings with the affiliated companies and independent identification of action areas for measures to ensure long-term success
• Close cooperation with the CFOs of the various companies

WHY YOU FIT WITH YOUR SKILLS:

• You have a university degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling, finance, or accounting
• Several years of professional experience in the area of group controlling and M&A
• At best you have knowledge of the consolidation software Tagetik (or other systems e.g. LUCANET, SAP BPC, Hyperion HFM)
• Profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement are easy for you to handle and you have good IFRS knowledge
• Excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of complex financial issues
