Head of Group Controlling (m/w/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THIS EXCITING ROLE:

• Development and implementation of best practice controlling strategies to maximize sustainable business value
• Innovative management reporting and performance monitoring using advanced analytical tools such as LucaNet and Power Bl
• Responsibility for managing complex budgeting and forecasting processes, characterized by forward-looking and dynamic financial planning
• Leadership in investment controlling with a focus on value-enhancing capital allocation and return-on-investment analyses
• Ensuring efficient working capital management by continuously analyzing and improving the capital tied up in inventories, receivables and liabilities
• Carrying out risk and sensitivity analyses to support management in identifying business risks
• Working closely with various business units to carry out profitability analyses for new product lines, market entry strategies and operational efficiency improvements
• Leading projects to integrate financial information systems to help ensure a consistent data basis for the entire company and promote data-driven decisions
• Developing and continuously improving internal control systems (ICS) to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with internal and external regulations
• Orchestrating and optimizing financial processes to accelerate agility and decision-making across the organization
• Inspiring leadership and development of a highly skilled controlling team to establish a culture of collaboration and continuous learning

YOUR PROFIL:

• Academic degree in economics, finance or a comparable course of study, ideally supplemented by an additional qualification such as CMA or СРА
• Several years of management experience in controlling in an internationally operating company, combined with a proven track record in the development and implementation of controlling innovations
• Excellent communication skills in German and English complemented by a confident presence on the international stage
• A deep understanding of risk management, coupled with the ability to oversee treasury and insurance matters without needing the depth of detail of a specialist
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a passion for data-driven decision making and a goal-oriented approach
