Motivated and well-trained employees as well as a positive working atmosphere are important to our client, a leading global manufacturer of coating and adhesive application systems for the general and automotive industries. And because good HR work is much more than just a functioning personnel administration, we are looking for a personnel manager for the location in the greater Cologne/Bonn area who will professionalize the HR work at our partner with great ambition and a wealth of experience. As HR Manager, you will help shape the Employee Life Cycle of around 150 employees. You will ensure framework conditions that encourage employees in different positions and career stages to achieve their goals, develop themselves further and drive the success story forward. You will act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director as well as the senior employees and will be responsible for all HR issues within the site. You will always be in close communication at management level to coach and support them in the best possible way.

Your tasks

Together with the management, you will work in a familiar and trusting management culture and shape the change to a company with modern HR instruments.

As an experienced HR generalist, you will act as a competent and critical sparring partner for the executives, in particular on the topics of

  • HR controlling
  • HR marketing and recruiting
  • Further training and executive coaching
  • Employee development
  • employee branding
  • Labor law & operational personnel support

What you bring to the table

You are motivated to shape the HR future at our client, to take responsibility and to lead the way. You have

  • Completed studies or a comparable degree (specialization in human resources / business administration an advantage)
  • At least 5 years of experience as HR generalist
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of French desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of labor law
  • Experience in coaching executives
  • Solution & result oriented work
  • Methodical consulting skills
  • Knowledge of DATEV desirable
  • Convincing appearance characterized by reliability and empathy
