For our partner we are looking for an IT System Admin for Linux (m/f/d) for the location Pulheim near Cologne with immediate effect. What to expect in this exciting job:

  • You will be responsible for the operation, administration and fault clearance of high availability systems.
  • You will work with the operating systems Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Suse Linux or Windows
  • Server as well as with VMware and Citrix.
  • You develop concepts, plan and implement technical enhancements of these systems, also in cooperation with external IT service providers.
  • You analyze functional requirements and develop solution proposals for the
  • technical implementation
  • You create operating concepts and technical documentation.


Why you fit with your skills:

  • You have a degree in computer science/business informatics, an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
  • You have very good technical knowledge with the operating systems Red Hat Enterprise Linux and
  • Suse Linux or Windows Server.
  • Knowledge in the area of storage technologies as well as Docker / Kubernetes or VMware
  • and Citrix are desirable.
  • You demonstrate communication and teamwork skills as well as a high degree of
  • personal responsibility.
  • You have a working knowledge of English.
