TASKS

• As an accomplished leader, you will drive your team to peak performance in day-to-day operations and special projects.
• You will confidently assume responsibility for the company's entire accounting.
• For the complete sub-ledgers you are the pacemaker - from fixed assets to accounts payable.
• Likewise, you will take care of accounts receivable and ensure that the dunning process runs smoothly, keeping accounts receivable low.
• The monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB are your responsibility.
• You are the driving force behind the implementation of digitalization projects in Accounting; with your support, the Accounting team masters the digital transformation.
• With your profound know-how, you optimize cross-departmental processes and workflows.
• You are the driving force behind the continuous development of Accounting As a diplomatic networker, you promote collaboration between your team and other departments
• You demonstrate skill when it comes to coordinating and managing external service providers and partners such as tax advisors, auditors and authorities

PROFILE

• You have a degree with a focus on finance and accounting or have successfully completed a further qualification as a balance sheet accountant
• Your several years of professional experience in the accounting department of an international industrial company enable you to master industry-specific challenges and to effectively lead the team
• You are well-versed in monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and can apply your expertise in a targeted manner to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting
• Your confident use of ERP systems contributes to the efficient completion of your tasks
• You have a good command of English, which enables you to communicate easily in an international environment and to work with global partners
• Your strong communication skills promote cross-departmental collaboration and play a major role in the company's success
