Our client is one of the leading family-owned companies in the field of energy supply with a focus on gas as an energy carrier, in particular liquefied petroleum gas for industry, commerce and the private sector. Whether liquid gas, electricity, natural gas, technical gases or hydrogen, the product range combines classic energy sources and forward-looking innovations of tomorrow. At the site in the Rhineland, you will lead a team of over 20 employees throughout Germany and will be responsible, among other things, for the topics of process optimization of workflows as well as for the modernization of safety technology and quality management. In your challenging role, you will report directly to the management.

Your experience and qualifications:

  • You have a degree in engineering in supply technology, gas technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable course of study
  • At least five years of professional experience in the liquid gas, technical gases or fuels industry
  • First disciplinary and technical leadership required
  • You have a sound knowledge of plant and safety engineering and proven expertise in quality management
  • In your role, you see yourself both as an experienced specialist in technical workflows and as a change manager with the ambition to question processes and to map them as "lean" as possible
  • You combine entrepreneurial thinking with empathy and the ability to work in a team, which means that you always act in the interests of your employer and live out a cooperative management style.
  • Your communication skills convince customers and business partners

Your tasks:

  • Leadership and further development of the safety engineering and quality management department with over 20 employees nationwide, in terms of modernization, process optimization and safety
  • Plant safety including regulatory knowledge, alarm and hazard prevention plans
  • Authority management including plant approvals and safety reports
  • Implementation of measures for environmental protection and hazardous materials as well as fire protection
  • Plant documentation
  • Further development of technical plants
  • Implementation of internal and external audits and training
  • Association activities
  • Cooperation with other divisions and companies of the company
