Since 2018, our partner is part of an international American group with over 50,000 employees. Within the company, electric motors and related components are developed. In the course of the post-merger process, established processes and structures in engineering and operations are naturally also looked at more closely and analyzed. Your tasks

  • Determination and realization of cost saving potentials on existing products, assemblies and components
  • Supporting product development in the cost-optimized design of new components, assemblies and products in line with production requirements
  • Implementation of value analysis and cost estimation tools
  • Cooperation with other manufacturing sites but also with purchasing and supply chain management

Your profile

  • Well-founded mechanical engineering background through studies or apprenticeship with corresponding advanced trainings
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable environment as a Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer
  • Experience in manufacturing and manufacturing costing, and ideally in construction
  • Know-How in value analysis and manufacturing optimization of components, especially in mechanically machined metal parts
  • Knowledge of existing production-relevant standards (surfaces, casting standards, tolerances, etc.)
