Regional Head Underwriting Liability (m/f/d)

What to expect in this role:

• Disciplinary and technical leadership responsibility for team leaders and underwriters in the liability line of business in the region.
• Responsibility for achieving the set targets in the Northeast region and ensuring professional competence in the liability line of business
• Monitoring of liability-specific core KPIs in the region as well as planning and controlling of personnel and material costs of the regional underwriting unit
• Support of sales measures, incl. cross-selling in close coordination with the sales department
• Regular exchange with line managers from other regions and the lead underwriters in Germany Proactive identification of positive and negative trend developments in individual portfolios in the region

• Strong experience in managing employees

• Many years of experience and very deep knowledge of the underwriting line of business

• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages welcome
• High willingness to travel on business
