The Sales controller (m/f/d) plays a central role as the interface between the finance department, the sales team, and senior management. In this key position, you will significantly contribute to the strategic direction and efficiency improvement of the company. Your responsibilities encompass both analytical and operational tasks, requiring a high degree of self-reliance, assertiveness, and technical expertise. You will ensure that financial data is accurately analyzed and interpreted to make informed strategic decisions.

Your ability to operate both analytically and operationally allows you to optimize processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement innovative solutions that significantly impact business success.


  • Sales Controlling: Develop and implement KPIs, monitor and analyze sales performance, and identify optimization potential.
  • Budget Forecasting: Create and maintain detailed budget forecasts and financial reports, ensuring adherence to budget targets.
  • Reporting: Develop and continuously improve reporting systems in SAP HANA and BW, providing decision-relevant information to senior management and the sales department.
  • Financial Transparency: Collaborate with the finance department and dealers to ensure financial clarity, negotiate and communicate with senior management.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize business processes in the finance and sales areas, implementing efficient solutions.
  • Business Partnering: Regularly visit business partners to maintain and expand business relationships, support the sales team with thorough analyses and strategic recommendations.
  • Finance Clearance: Resolve outstanding issues and ensure financial integrity.


  • Education: Completed studies in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment and in sales controlling.
  • International Standing: Extensive experience in international contexts and dealing with corporate structures.
  • Technical Expertise: Excellent SAP knowledge.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
  • Communication Skills: High communication and teamwork skills, coupled with the ability to present complex data clearly and understandably.
  • Sales Understanding: Deep understanding of sales processes and business developments.
  • Controlling Expertise: Experience in sales controlling, budget forecasting, and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems early and proactively develop solutions.
  • Relationship Management: Skill in maintaining partnerships and collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills: High level of self-reliance and assertiveness, strong collaboration abilities, negotiation skills, and the ability to address difficult topics and find solutions.
