Teamlead IT-Network (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Network and Telecommunications Team EMEA, Asia Pacific and LATAM
• Develop and maintain current architecture and technology and implement future projects and roadmaps
• Work closely with Information Security and International Network a nd Telecom departments to build consensus based on defined business and technology requirements
• Document and develop short, medium, and long-term technology-related strategic objectives in collaboration with the international network and telecommunications team that will enable the company to achieve its business goals with greater flexibility
• Implement, enforce and review end-to-end policies and processes/procedures related to the operational aspects of infrastructure and network security operations to achieve consistent, targeted results in alignment with business objectives
• Identify, advise and deploy network, telecommunications and security technologies to meet requirements
• Manage, interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure software products and services
• Perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and other hands-on tasks as required
• Training, mentoring, and consulting with team members

Requirements

• 7+ years related experience, leadership experience desirable
• Teamoriented and skilled in working within a global, collaborative environment
• Ability to lead geographically dispersed team with strong relationship management skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in english and advanced german basics
• Ability:

1. to conduct research into issues and products as required
2. to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
3. to motivate and direct staff members and subordinates

• Experience working in network & telephony design/architecture/technology to include product selection, roadmaps, and implementation
• General experience and knowledge with: Firewalls (Palo Alto, CheckPoint), Proxies/Web Content Filtering, Routing/Routers, Switching/Switches (Cisco, Meraki, Extreme), Dynamic Routing Protocols, UCaaS/VoIP/Telephony, Wireless Access Points & AssociatedTechnologies, Monitoring & Logging, Network Services (DNS, DHCP, etc), Windows Server/Desktop OS, Web Browsers, Remote Control, other Network Technologies
