Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility in financial accounting

• You will process the general ledger of one or more individual companies in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), including accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets, fully and independently
• You prepare the monthly financial statements according to HGB and are responsible for the annual financial statements of individual companies for submission to the tax advisor
• Your reporting line goes directly to the responsible shareholders
• Your day-to-day operational tasks also include the timely preparation of advance VAT returns and recapitulative statements
• Further development of processes and implementation in day-to-day operations
• You will be involved in special accounting projects and will support the department management in strategic issues.
• Last but not least, you will be the contact person for tax consultants, auditors and tax auditors.

You will recognize yourself here:

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/controlling or have successfully completed basic or advanced training, e.g., accountant, or are trained in taxation with relevant expertise
• In the past, you have already gained in-depth, practical experience in the financial accounting department of a larger company with an international orientation and complex bookkeeping
• You are fit in one of the common ERP solutions and open-minded to get to know new systems and software
• Your German language skills are fluent and your English skills are very good
• Working in accounting is your absolute dream job and your enthusiasm for numbers is boundless, so you are keen to keep learning and developing personally and professionally
• You like to be on the road and occasionally travel to the locations
