Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

YOUR KEY ACTIVITIES

• Your tasks will include the independent management of accounting for a company, including the accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
• Your commitment to the independent implementation and monitoring of financial statements will ensure compliance with relevant standards and deadlines.
• You will use your analytical skills to improve existing accounting and financial processes, increase efficiency and minimise error rates.
• Implement new accounting technologies and systems to improve the accuracy of financial reporting and minimise the time spent on closing work.
• You excel in the accurate preparation and filing of advance tax returns and the preparation of meaningful financial reports, making a significant contribution to tax compliance and transparency of financial performance.
• As a trusted contact person for external auditors, you will be a pillar of the team, while your involvement in the development and implementation of internal control procedures will optimise financial processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a commercial apprenticeship, a qualification as an accountant, a degree in business administration with a focus on finance or similar qualifications, supplemented by relevant professional experience and a willingness to undergo continuous further training in the field of finance.
• Your expertise includes the preparation of financial statements in accordance with HGB and a deep understanding of accounting processes.
• You have the ability to operate in an international environment and preferably have experience with modern ERP systems such as Business Central or Navision
• Analytical skills enable you to analyse complex financial data and gain strategic insights.
• Your strong communication skills enable you to convey complex content clearly and communicate effectively both internally and with external partners.
• You have a detail-oriented way of working to achieve maximum accuracy in financial reporting and minimise errors.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability help you to creatively tackle challenges and quickly adapt to change.
• Your ability to collaborate and your openness to continuous learning round off your profile and make you a valuable member of any finance team.
