Senior Risk Engineer Chemistry (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Risk management: You will provide comprehensive support and advice to key accounts in all aspects of risk management. Your focus will be on the chemical industry, including petrochemicals, specialty and basic chemicals and their further processing in related industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and plastics production.
• Risk assessment: You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing property risks in the underwriting and claims process. You will use your extensive expertise to develop tailor-made solutions and effectively minimize risks.
• International cooperation: As part of the international risk engineering network, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of industry-specific risk management strategies.
• Training and workshops: you will conduct training and workshops both internally and for clients to raise awareness of risk management and share expertise.

Your profile:

• Academic background: a university degree in engineering or natural sciences or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in an international company, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Communication and analysis: You have excellent communication skills and a strong analytical mindset. Your structured way of working enables you to solve complex issues efficiently.
• Customer orientation: A clear customer focus is a matter of course for you. You know how to respond to customers' needs and offer customized solutions.
• Language skills: Fluency in German and English is a prerequisite. Further language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel: You are willing to travel for international assignments.
