Technical Underwriter (m/f/d)

YOUR FUTURE FIELD OF ACTIVITY:

• Core competence in contract drafting: you are the first point of contact for sales partners, sales representatives, participating companies and customers for all questions relating to contract drafting.
• Risk assessment and evaluation: Your expertise in the assessment and evaluation of risks is crucial for underwriting. You analyze risks precisely and develop tailor-made solutions
• Premium calculation and quotation preparation: You calculate premiums, quote and prepare attractive quotations. Your ability to develop individual contracts and conditions contributes significantly to customer satisfaction.
• PML calculation and reinsurance management: You will be responsible for calculating the Possible Maximum Loss (PML) and reviewing reinsurance agreements in order to optimize the company's risk position.
• Responsibility for the entire contract process: You ensure the efficient and precise handling of all contract processes and ensure the continuous adjustment and improvement of contract conditions.
• Contract reorganization and strategic interface function: As part of the contract reorganization, you take into account the overall customer relationship and act as an important interface to the Head of Operations and other underwriters.
• Participation in special projects: If required, you will take on additional tasks and contribute to the processing of central projects and special topics in order to ensure the performance.

YOUR PROFILE

• Qualified technical expertise: With your completed training as an insurance broker or insurance specialist and additional specialization as a technical underwriter (DAV), you have the essential tools for this demanding position.
• In-depth technical know-how: Your many years of experience in technical underwriting enable you to precisely assess complex risks in the fields of mechanical engineering, plant engineering and electrical engineering and to design tailor-made insurance solutions.
• Strong communication skills: Your excellent communication skills enable you to present complex issues clearly and build effective relationships with clients and partners.
• Willingness to travel: Your flexibility and openness to business travel demonstrates your dedication and commitment to maintaining direct client relationships and representing the brand at key industry events.
• Digital agility: You are adept at using modern IT systems and ERP tools and utilize them effectively in your daily work.
